With Battery Response, should your car battery fail we can fit a new car battery for you. All you have to pay for is the battery; labour and fitting costs are included in your membership (subject to membership terms and conditions, e.g. Battery Response is not available without further charges if you breakdown at home without At Home cover).

Every patrol carries a range of high specification Bosch car batteries which cover most cars on the road. Plus, if our Patrol doesn't have the car battery you need on the van, we'll source it for you from one of our 8,500 suppliers across UK to make sure we get your vehicle moving again as quickly as possible.

We attend 500,000 battery-related call-outs and fit over 100,000 per year. When we fit a new battery for you, this is what we do:

• With our expertise and using the latest technology we'll check that you definitely need a new car battery, so can be sure it’s not just flat or that something else is wrong:
• If you need a new battery, we can supply you with a quality Bosch car battery so you avoid the inconvenience of making arrangements to get one yourself and can be sure you have a quality replacement.
• Only our car batteries come with RAC’s mobile replacement guarantee – so if any car battery we've fitted is faulty within three years (S3,) four years (S4 & S6), five years (S5), we'll repair/replace it at the roadside.
• We'll even take away your old car battery for you and recycle it.
