Product description

If you want a feature packed dash cam with all the latest bells and whistles then the MiVue 658 WiFi has been created for you. This smart, stylish accident camera houses a range of functions along with the latest Extreme HD recording quality.

Extreme HD video records at 2304 pixels for even crisper, more detailed recording. Combined with the 140° F1.8 wide angle lens, you’ll always have exceptional video of the road in front of your car, even in low light conditions.

Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect your smartphone to the camera and instantly access and share video to Facebook, YouTube, or via email to your insurance company or Police. No need to wait until you are near a computer.

Drive Safety features include speed camera alerts and speed warning alarm to help you stay at a legal speed limit on unfamiliar roads.

Built in GPS tracking and the 3-axis G-Sensor records vital information about location, direction and speed you are travelling. The G-Sensor also detects events such as an impact and automatically marks the video segment as protected to avoid accidental erasure.

This camera has 2 memory card slots, each capable of using up to 128 GB MicroSD cards (Class 10). The second memory card allows you to manually back-up video clips you want to save if you are going to be away from your computer for a while (great if you’re going on holiday). See Memory Card Help below for advice on choosing a comaptible memory card.

You can manage your MiVue 658 Wi-Fi with the free MiVue Manager software. Use it to access photos and videos, overlay your journeys on Google Maps with the GPS and G-Sensor data, and share videos to social media.

When choosing a MicroSD card for your MiVue device we recommend considering the classification and capacity of the card. The SD card class will let you know how fast the device and read / write data and the capacity will let you know how long you will be able to record before the device will start overwriting older data. We recommend using Class 10 MicroSD cards with at least 8 GB capacity.

This is especially important when recording in HD, as the quality can either improve or decrease depending on how fast the SD card can write information.

Please note: Mio doesn't guarantee the product's compatibility with memory cards from all manufacturers.

More Information

Before using a card for the first time you will need to format it to avoid malfunction caused by files not created by MiVue. We also advise formatting the MicroSD via your PC, but it is also possible to format the card directly on your MiVue go to  Menu > Format .

We do not advise leaving the memory card in the drive recorder when it's not in use for some time and do not keep the cards or their cases near a strong magnetic field or electronic device that could erase data or damage circuits.
